The Tyndale Society
This is the best single site for both material from and about Tyndale. It's the society founded in 1995 out of the William Tyndale Quincentenary Trust, and it remains actively maintained (the homepage carries a "site last updated" stamp of 20 August 2026). Tyndale.org is one of the most important online resources for serious study of William Tyndale, particularly his historical significance, translation work, writings, and enduring influence on the English Bible. Its scholarly breadth makes it invaluable for research, though the Society itself is historical and academic rather than confessionally Reformed, so theological interpretations should be evaluated accordingly. For studying the man whose labors so powerfully advanced Scripture in the vernacular and the English Reformation, it is highly recommended.

Project Wittenberg
Project Wittenberg is a valuable primary-source resource for studying Luther, the Lutheran Reformation, and the development of confessional Protestant theology. Its collections are especially useful for accessing Luther’s sermons, catechisms, theological works, and Reformation-era documents that illuminate justification by faith, the authority of Scripture, and the recovery of the gospel. Its distinctly Lutheran sacramental and ecclesiological commitments should be read with discernment from a broader Reformed perspective, but for serious Reformation study it remains an important and recommended archive.

The Highway
The Highway is a valuable resource for readers seeking Reformed, Calvinistic, and confessionally grounded theology. Its strong emphasis on sovereign grace, historic Protestant doctrine, biblical discernment, and primary Reformed standards makes it especially useful for theological study and apologetics. Some material reflects a more narrowly Presbyterian or strongly polemical perspective, so individual conclusions should still be weighed carefully, but its depth, longevity, and commitment to historic Reformed Christianity make it a valuable recommendation.

William Tyndale | The Independent Works of
This is an exceptionally valuable resource for serious study of Tyndale because it provides direct access to carefully edited primary texts rather than relying on modern summaries or antiquated nineteenth-century editions. Its academic orientation is broader than a confessional Protestant one, so theological interpretations in the editorial material should be evaluated critically; nevertheless, for studying Tyndale’s doctrine of Scripture, justification, church reform, and opposition to Rome, it is one of the finest scholarly resources available.
