This site is frequently updated with posts and media from The Dividing Line program. It is a good source for apologetics interfacing current cultural and political issues, unbiblical "Christianity", biblical criticism, cults, Catholicism, Islam, and more.
-
Apologetics Press
While we recommend a presuppositional approach to apologetics, this site contains some useful information for self study, encouragement, and even evangelism. Topics range from evidences supporting the Christian Faith to highly controversial areas that challenge that Faith.
-
Proof That God Exists
The intent of this website is to be faithful to what the Bible teaches about “giving a reason for the hope you have” (1 Peter 3:15) by demonstrating that people cannot account for anything they know apart from God, and by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
Apprising Ministries
This site is a outdated and is not well maintained. But it still may offer some useful articles and links to other apologetics sites.
-
The Philosophy of History and Creationism
This is an "old school" site, as admitted by the owner. It still contains some useful resources.
-
Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics
With its strong emphasis on the doctrines of grace, the regulative principle of worship, historic confessions, Puritan theology, and the recovery of older Reformed literature CRTA is especially useful for pastors and serious theological students. Its theological commitments are narrower and more explicitly Presbyterian than those of many broadly evangelical Reformed sites, so some conclusions regarding ecclesiology, covenant theology, baptism, worship, and subscription to the Westminster Standards should be evaluated accordingly. Nevertheless, its doctrinal seriousness, wealth of historic material, and commitment to recovering the theological inheritance of the Reformation and Puritans make CRTA a valuable resource.
-

-
The John Ankerberg Show
The John Ankerberg Show is a weekly half-hour internationally syndicated television program whose purpose is to demonstrate that Christianity is true so that our viewers will embrace it for themselves and learn to share it effectively with others. The formats of choice for this apologetics ministry are informal debates between representatives of differing belief systems, and documentary-styled presentations on major issues in society to which the historic Christian faith has something of consequence to say. The programs are designed to reach and appeal to a thinking audience of Christians and non-Christians alike.
Evidential
-

Complete Quran in English Language Online
This is an electronic version of The Holy Qur'an, translated by M.H. Shakir and published by Tahrike Tarsile Qur'an, Inc., in 1983. The text was provided by the Online Book Initiative and subsequently marked up at the HTI in SGML. Like all the versions of this text derived from the Online Book Initiative, it is not free from errors and represents the text as published.
Presuppositional
-
Presuppositional Apologetics
This is a strong resource for developing a distinctly Christian approach to apologetics that takes seriously the noetic effects of sin, the impossibility of neutrality, and the necessity of bringing every thought captive to Christ. Frame and Poythress are especially helpful in showing how Scripture governs not merely theology but the entire intellectual task. Their broader theology, however, is confessionally Reformed and covenantal, including traditional formulations of the covenant of works and covenant of grace, so readers who differ at those points should exercise discernment. Even so, the apologetic method presented here is thoughtful, biblical, and highly useful.
-
Apologetics of Greg Bahnsen
This site contains numerous articles and audio media from the teaching, debates, and writings of Greg Bahnsen and others. As a student of Cornelius Van Til, Bahnsen masterfully championed the presuppositional approach to Christian apologetics. While we do not endorse theonomy and the eschatological views presented on this site, the apologetics material is outstanding.
-
The Francis A. Schaeffer Foundation
Dr. Francis Schaeffer has been used of God to bring about wonderful depth and clarity in applying the truths of Christianity. As a presuppositional apologist, his contributions to defending and advancing the faith by addressing one's worldview are profoundly significant. We would recommend this site more highly if it contained more of the writings of Dr. Schaeffer. It should be noted that this site represents the Schaeffer Foundation.

The Dead Sea Scrolls
The Israel Antiquities Authority has made high-resolution and multispectral images of thousands of fragments available online, including some of the oldest surviving biblical manuscript witnesses. This is a primary-source repository rather than a theological resource, but for demonstrating the antiquity and transmission of the Hebrew Scriptures it is extraordinary.
-
Text & Canon Institute
John Meade and Peter Gurry founded it specifically to explain how the Bible was copied, canonized, and translated, and its material is deliberately graded beginner / intermediate / advanced. Its staff includes OT textual scholar Peter Gentry, and its advisory board includes Charles Hill, Dirk Jongkind, Daniel Wallace, and P. J. Williams. It has especially useful material for pastors because it treats textual criticism as part of the history and theology of Scripture rather than as an isolated technical discipline.
-
The Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts
This is an excellent, high quality, site that features the best in manuscript research. Digital photographs, analysis, and related media all related to early Christian document research is accessible through this site.
-
Evangelical Textual Criticism
It was founded by P. J. Williams specifically so scholars could discuss OT and NT manuscripts and textual history “from the perspective of historic evangelical theology.” Current and past contributors include Peter Head, Tommy Wasserman, Williams, Gurry, and numerous other working textual critics. It is more technical and conversational than Text & Canon, and particularly useful when you want to investigate a specific variant, manuscript, method, or recent development. Its resources page also gathers recommended commentaries and tools.
-
New Testament Virtual Manuscript Room - INTF
This is an academic research tool. It maintains the official catalogue of Greek NT manuscripts and provides manuscript images, transcriptions, data, and sophisticated research tools. Peter Gurry calls it effectively indispensable to contemporary academic text-critical work. It is not a confessional evangelical resource, so use it for primary data rather than theological framing; nevertheless, serious evangelical textual critics use it constantly.
