I highly recommend Substitutionalist, not least because it is my own site and reflects many of the theological convictions that govern my ministry. Its controlling concern is to magnify Christ as the sinner’s Substitute and to preserve memorable expressions of biblical truth from some of the church’s finest theologians, especially the Reformers, Puritans, and Reformed evangelical tradition. Because much of the site consists of selected quotations and excerpts, readers should consult original works when fuller context is important; nevertheless, it is designed as a concentrated treasury of Christ-centered, gospel-rich, and devotionally useful theology.

Substitutionalist.com is a site expressing echoes of thought in love with God through Christ. It centers on the central distinctive means of the gospel: the penal substitution of Jesus Christ dying on the cross in place of sinners. It contains quotations from Ancients, Reformers, Puritans, and faithful contemporary theologians, together with occasional devotional reflections, emphasizing Scripture, sovereign grace, Christ’s saving work, and historic Protestant theology.
